Her highly praised first cookbook, The Spice Is Right: Easy Indian Cooking for Today is a collection of mouth-watering menus tempered with her up-to-date touches on classic Indian recipes.
Carolyn Ketchum is a self-taught amateur photographer and the evil mastermind behind All Day I Dream About Food, a blog that focuses on healthy but indulgent low carb and gluten-free recipes. Her recipes and photography have been featured on Women’s Health Online, Glamour Online, Relish Magazine and Huffington post, among others. She has featured articles in The Diabetes Experience, A Sweet Life Diabetes Magazine, and Easy Eats Magazine, and is contributor to and co-editor of the Low Carbing Among Friends cookbook series. Based in Philadelphia, Deanna Segrave-Daly is a seasoned communications consultant and “food loving” registered dietitian specializing in nutrition and culinary projects. She co-owns Teaspoon Communications, a food-focused nutrition communications group that consults with a variety of health and food organizations. She has conducted hundreds of media interviews locally and nationally on a variety of topics ranging from healthy cooking tips to school nutrition.
Debbie Koenig is a food, diet, and parenting writer, and the author of the cookbook Parents Need to Eat Too: Nap-Friendly Recipes, One-Handed Meals & Time-Saving Kitchen Tricks for New Parents (William Morrow, 2012). She’s written for such publications as The New York Times, Parents, American Baby, Weight Watchers, and Fit Pregnancy, and also writes two blogs: Parents Need to Eat Too, which she started in 2004 as Words to Eat By, and Feed the Parents, which she writes for Weight Watchers. Koenig lives in Brooklyn, NY, with her omnivorous husband and their stubbornly non-nivorous 6-year-old son.
Jesse Gardner is a designer-turned-developer living just outside Philly, and is currently the VP of Technology at Simply Recipes. Jesse worked for several years as Platform Director at AMC Networks, and before that founded his own design firm, Plasticmind Design. He used to be a teacher, and loves writing about design, development and technology in plain language to help others learn what he’s learned.
